Instead of all of us buying electricity individually at whatever rates the power companies dictate, we are negotiating a bulk-deal for all the power we need in the Noosa region including Peregian Springs, Eumundi, Doonan, Verrierdale. And we would like to do much better than that. The most important first step: Negotiate a Bulk Purchase of Renewable Energy for Our Community. Instead Noosa Power exists to serve our community by coordinating simple actions that lead to a clean energy future while reducing the costs for all participants.

And actually, it is not necessary. There are about 25, electricity accounts in the Noosa region… So if you are a Noosa region resident or business owner and believe in our vision, sign the Action Declaration. Or head straight to the Energex Authority form , so we can request your electricity consumption details to negotiate the bulk purchase you will need a recent electricity bill to fill that out. A lot of people told us that it can only be done if our government makes changes. The solutions exist today and we are sharing exactly how the Noosa region and others can achieve it. We believe in taking action now! Negotiations have already started and are at a point where we need to prove actual community interest. It is a good starting point, and there is more that we can and will do.
